The Venom Flex 4-Inch Hybrid 3-Step Diamond Polishing Pads were developed as an alternative mold option to Venom Pro Flex Hybrid, using the same hybrid resin formulation, same diamonds, and same performance characteristics, offered in a different physical pad mold to accommodate fabricator preference and workflow.

Venom Flex is built on the proven Venom Hybrid platform and uses a softer, more flexible hybrid resin formulation than standard Venom Hybrid pads. This flexible resin allows the pad to conform more easily to tight corners, inside radiuses, bevels, ogees, and detailed edge profiles, while maintaining predictable cutting behavior and consistent results.

Like Venom Pro Flex Hybrid, Venom Flex was designed for edge polishing first. The added flexibility improves control in complex edge geometry without changing the cutting behavior, speed, or finish characteristics that fabricators expect from Venom Hybrid systems.

Most diamond polishing pads are capable of working on many materials. The difference lies in what a pad is optimized for. Venom Hybrid systems were engineered to perform consistently on newer, harder, and more heat-sensitive materials such as quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and Dekton, while still performing well on granite and other natural stone. Venom Flex maintains that same performance profile, with added flexibility for demanding edge shapes.

Although the Venom Flex system includes five total pads, it is sold and recognized as a 3-step polishing system, built around Steps 1, 2, and 3, which define the core polishing process. A coarse pad is available when additional stock removal is required, and a high-gloss pad can be used as an optional final step for materials that benefit from added clarity and shine.

Venom Flex uses a true hybrid resin diamond formulation and can be used wet or dry. When running dry, many fabricators prefer to use a light mist of water to improve finish quality and extend pad life.

Edge Use vs. Surface Use (Important Note)

Venom Flex polishing pads are designed and intended primarily for edge polishing applications. Like other Venom Hybrid-based systems, some experienced fabricators use these pads for light surface scratch refinement in specific situations.

This crossover use is technique-dependent and not the intended primary application. Results vary based on material type, scratch depth, RPM, water control, and operator experience.
