The 5 Inch Venom Rush Diamond Velcro Flat Polishing Pads are engineered for polishing flat edges—including straight edges and bevels—on quartz, quartzite and granite using inline and backsplash polishing machines. These pads deliver strong cutting in the lower grits, smooth refinement in the mid-grits and exceptional clarity and gloss in the finishing stages.

These Velcro-backed pads are available in Coarse 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, and High Gloss. Most fabrication shops achieve their polishing goals using 100, 200, 500 and 1000, with 2000 added for higher refinement. For increased shine, shops move to 3000, and for the highest gloss levels, High Gloss completes the process.

For shops with fewer polishing heads, Venom Rush pads are extremely adaptable. Common limited-head progressions include:
50 → 100 → 200 → 500 → 1000 → 3000
100 → 200 → 500 → 1000 → 2000
This flexibility allows fabricators to run clean, professional polishing sequences using as few as 5 heads, or up to 8 heads, depending on machine design and desired finish.

These pads are Velcro-backed, and for best performance, alignment and holding strength, we recommend using Venom Velcro Snail-Lock Backer Pads. They ensure proper contact, fast pad changes and smooth polishing transitions.

Many customers also use individual Venom Rush grits to fill in or enhance the Venom 3 Step Diamond Velcro Polishing Pads, especially when polishing extremely tough quartzite or when higher clarity is needed on quartz.

CUSTOMER TIPS (BASED ON REAL SHOP FEEDBACK)

• Most fabricators achieve excellent results using 100, 200, 500 and 1000, with 2000 added when needed.

• Use 50 grit only when deep scratches or saw lines must be removed.

• Move to 3000 when additional sheen is required; use High Gloss for final maximum reflection.

• Limited-head machines commonly follow:

  • 50 → 100 → 200 → 500 → 1000 → 3000

  • 100 → 200 → 500 → 1000 → 2000
