The 5 Inch Venom 3 Step Diamond Velcro Flat Polishing Pads are designed for high-efficiency polishing of flat stone edges, including straight edges and bevels, on quartz, quartzite and granite. Built for inline and backsplash polishing machines, this system delivers excellent cutting action, smooth refinement and a clean high-gloss finish in fewer steps than traditional multi-grit polishing systems.

The Venom 3 Step system includes:
Coarse, Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, and High Gloss.

This simplified layout saves time while still delivering a professional, consistent polish on hard stone. Depending on machine setup and head count, shops often double up on Step 1 or Step 2 to increase clarity and keep spacing consistent across heads.

Because these pads are Velcro-backed, operators can change pads quickly while maintaining alignment. For the best bond strength and durability, we recommend using Venom Velcro Snail-Lock Backer Pads.

Many fabrication shops also mix Venom Rush pads with the Venom 3 Step system for enhanced results on difficult materials.
A common hybrid technique is inserting a Venom Rush 200 grit between Step 1 and Step 2 to add extra refinement when polishing quartzite or high-density quartz.
