Product Description
The Venom € Taj Mahal Quartzite Diamond Blade – 16 Inch is a dedicated quartzite blade engineered for true straight cutting and miter cutting on the hardest quartzite materials.
Quartzite generates extreme heat and heavy slurry during cutting. If segment design, diamond concentration, and slurry evacuation are not controlled, performance drops quickly. This blade is built specifically to manage those conditions consistently.
Rather than relying on fancy cool paint jobs or cool artwork — which we all appreciate because they make life more fun — this blade is focused on one thing:
Being made correctly. Being made precise. Being made to cut.
What This Blade Is Designed to Do (First Principles)
Quartzite requires:
A segment that stays dressed under heat
Diamonds that stay open instead of glazing
Continuous slurry evacuation
Structural stability for miter cutting, not just straight passes
The Venom € Taj Mahal blade is designed around those requirements from the ground up.
Split Segment Design (Why It Matters)
This blade uses a true split segment design.
Each segment starts as one solid diamond segment, which is then split in half and welded to the core with a controlled gap between the two halves.
That gap is functional:
Reduces surface drag
Allows slurry and debris to evacuate
Prevents segment loading
When slurry evacuates properly:
The segment stays dressed
The diamonds stay open
Cutting remains consistent and controlled
This is critical for quartzite and especially important for miter cutting, where instability shows immediately.
True Straight-Cutting AND Miter-Cutting Blade
Most blades sold as “quartzite blades” today are straight-cutting only.
They may cut quartzite in a straight pass, but they lack the stability required for controlled miter work.
The Venom € Taj Mahal is engineered for both straight cuts and miters.
This is a structural design choice — not a secondary benefit.
Segment Height & Diamond Concentration (16 Inch)
This blade is produced with a 15 mm segment height, which represents the optimal formula for quartzite performance.
15 mm provides the highest effective diamond concentration in a segment that still maintains dynamic cutting behavior
In porcelain and Dekton, segment heights around 10 mm are optimal
For quartzite, 15 mm is the maximum height that maintains peak performance
Once segment heights increase to 20 mm or 25 mm, dynamic cutting performance drops. Those taller segments are better suited for straight cutting only, not miter work.
Custom Note:
20 mm segments can be produced for special orders if straight cutting is the only requirement.
Sandwich Silent Core Construction
The Venom € Taj Mahal blade uses a sandwich silent core, designed to significantly reduce cutting noise and vibration.
The core is manufactured using high-grade European steel and alloys, meeting strict European standards of excellence. Even the materials used to hand-weld the segments to the core are selected for consistency and durability.
After production, each blade is hand dressed to ensure balance and cutting accuracy.
This blade is hand crafted, not mass-produced on an assembly line.
Dedicated Quartzite Blade vs Crossover Blades
This is a dedicated quartzite blade.
Many modern blades are designed as crossover blades for quartzite, quartz, and granite. Their strength is versatility.
The Venom € Taj Mahal is different:
Quartzite is the priority
Miter cutting is part of the design
Stability matters more than versatility
That said, many customers do use this blade on quartz and granite, where it often cuts faster and smoother than blades sold specifically for those materials. That performance is observed in real shops, not positioned as the primary purpose.

Best blade for quartzite
Best one but first cut broke a teeth

Smooth and clean cuts
But, it doesn't last long

Good for hard material
This blade works well on hard quartzite. Blades designed to run at high rpm are constantly glazing and have short lives. This blade runs at a lower rpm and keeps cutting well slab after slab.
