Product Description

The Venom Pro Flex Hybrid 4-Inch Hybrid 3-Step Diamond Polishing Pads were developed during the same major shift in the countertop industry that led to the original Venom Hybrid system, when several hard-surface materials became popular at the same time. While granite and traditional natural stone had already been widely polished for years, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and Dekton entered the market together and required a more adaptable polishing solution.

Venom Pro Flex Hybrid is built on the proven Venom Hybrid platform but is manufactured with a softer, more flexible hybrid resin formulation than standard Venom Hybrid pads. This added flexibility allows the pad to conform more easily to tight corners, inside radiuses, bevels, ogees, and detailed edge profiles, while maintaining the same predictable cutting behavior and consistency that made Venom Hybrid widely adopted.

Most diamond polishing pads are capable of working on many materials. The difference lies in what a pad is optimized for. Venom Hybrid pads were engineered specifically to perform consistently on newer, harder, and more heat-sensitive materials, while still performing well on granite and other natural stone. Venom Pro Flex Hybrid builds on that foundation by adding greater flexibility and forgiveness, making it especially effective when edge geometry demands more pad compliance.

Although the Venom Pro Flex Hybrid system includes five total pads, it is sold and recognized as a 3-step polishing system because it is built around Steps 1, 2, and 3, which form the core polishing process. A coarse pad is available when additional stock removal is needed, and a high-gloss pad can be used as an optional final step for materials that benefit from extra clarity and shine.

Venom Pro Flex Hybrid uses a true hybrid resin diamond formulation. Like standard Venom Hybrid pads, it can be used wet or dry. When running dry, many fabricators find that using a light mist of water improves finish quality and pad life.

Pad System Layout

Coarse → Step 1 → Step 2 → Step 3 → High Gloss

Steps 1–3 define the system.
Coarse and High Gloss are optional and material-dependent.

True hybrid resin diamond technology
Softer, more flexible hybrid resin for tight corners and detailed edges
Sold and recognized as a 3-step polishing system
Optional coarse pad for additional stock removal
Optional high-gloss pad for added clarity and shine
Can be used wet or dry (light mist recommended for dry use)
Smooth transitions with reduced heat and swirl marks
Consistent performance on modern hard-surface materials

Primary Applications

Quartz countertops
Quartzite countertops (natural stone)
Porcelain and compact surfaces
Dekton
Granite and other natural stone

Especially effective for inside corners, radiuses, bevels, ogees, and detailed edge profiles.

Edge Use vs. Surface Use (Important Note)

Venom Pro Flex Hybrid polishing pads are designed and intended primarily for edge polishing applications. Like standard Venom Hybrid pads, some experienced fabricators also use them for light surface scratch refinement in certain situations.

This crossover use is not because the pads are designed for surface repair, but due to the quality of the hybrid resin and fabricator technique. Surface use is technique-dependent, not a guaranteed or intended application.

RPM & Usage Notes

Venom Pro Flex Hybrid polishing pads are designed to perform across a wide range of operating conditions depending on fabricator preference and technique.

Recommended average operating speed is approximately 3,500 RPM.
Common real-world operating range is approximately 2,000–5,000 RPM.
Maximum recommended speed is 5,000 RPM.

Different fabricators use different RPM speeds, pressure, and water levels to achieve desired results. One advantage of the flexible hybrid resin formulation is its ability to maintain control and consistency even when edge geometry becomes complex.
