After penetrating the material, the diamond-coated sidewalls allow controlled interior grinding and smoothing — similar to a compact drum wheel. This makes it ideal for cleaning sink cutouts, smoothing faucet holes, removing minor chips, and lightly shaping interior edges without switching tools.
