The H-15 Dupont Diamond Router Bit – Position 1 is a sintered metal-bond, continuous rim diamond router bit designed to shape a classic Dupont (H-Shape) profile on quartz, granite, and quartzite.

What “H-15” Means

• H = Dupont profile
• 15 = 15 mm profile height
• 15 mm equals approximately 5/8 inches

The Dupont (H-shape) profile features a defined top step followed by a rounded curve — a popular decorative edge used for high-end kitchens, vanities, and architectural stone applications.

What “Position 1” Means

Position 1 is the coarse shaping stage, using approximately 30/40 grit diamonds.

This stage:
• Removes material aggressively
• Cuts the full Dupont step + curve
• Prepares the profile for smoother shaping and polishing

The sintered metal bond contains high diamond concentration, guaranteeing long service life and consistent shaping performance — ideal for hard stones like quartzite.

The continuous rim enhances smoothness, stability, and chip control.

BOLT / THREAD SYSTEM (IMPORTANT)

Stone router bits do not use a half-inch arbor.

Every H-15 bit comes with two bolts, both with 10 mm shafts, but different thread sizes:

• 10 mm shaft with 10 mm thread
• 10 mm shaft with 8 mm thread

This makes the bit compatible with nearly all portable stone routers used in fabrication shops.

Both bolts come included with every router bit.
