The E-20 Bevel Shape Diamond Router Bit – Position 1 is a sintered metal-bond, continuous rim diamond router bit engineered to cut a 20 mm bevel (E-shape) on granite, quartz, and quartzite.
What “E-20” Means
E refers to the bevel profile.
20 refers to the bevel height.
20 mm equals approximately 3/4 inches.
The E-20 produces a medium-size bevel commonly used on standard countertops, islands, bevel-edge laminations, and straight-line modern designs.
What “Position 1” Means
Position 1 is the coarse shaping stage, using approximately 30/40 grit diamonds.
This stage removes heavy stock, forms the full 20 mm bevel angle, and prepares the profile for Position 2 and polishing stages.
The sintered metal bond contains a high diamond concentration for long tool life on hard materials like quartzite.
The continuous rim design improves control, reduces chipping, and keeps bevel transitions smooth.
BOLT AND THREAD SYSTEM (IMPORTANT)
Stone router bits do not use a 1/2-inch arbor.
The correct arbor shaft size is 10 mm.
Each E-20 bit includes two bolts, both with 10 mm shafts.
Bolt one: 10 mm shaft with 10 mm thread.
Bolt two: 10 mm shaft with 8 mm thread.
This dual-thread bolt system ensures compatibility with nearly every portable stone router.
