The 6 Inch Venom 3 Step Diamond Velcro Flat Polishing Pads are engineered for polishing flat edges—including straight edges and bevels—on quartz, quartzite and granite using line polishing machines, inline polishers and backsplash polishing machines. These pads provide fast material refinement, strong clarity and professional finishing while reducing the total number of steps compared to traditional 7–8 step polishing systems.

These Velcro-backed pads are available in Coarse, Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and High Gloss. Most fabrication shops achieve excellent results using Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 alone. On challenging quartzite or when additional reflection is required on quartz, many shops begin with Coarse before Step 1, and finish with High Gloss after Step 3 for increased depth and brilliance.

For shops with fewer polishing heads, Venom 3 Step pads are extremely adaptable. Typical limited-head progressions include:

This versatility allows fabricators to run clean, professional polishing sequences using as few as 4 heads or up to 6 heads, depending on machine design and desired finish.

These pads are Velcro-backed, and for best performance, alignment and holding strength, we recommend using Venom Velcro Snail-Lock Backer Pads. They ensure proper contact, fast pad changes and smooth polishing transitions.

Many customers also use individual Venom 3 Step positions to supplement Venom Rush Diamond Velcro Polishing Pads when polishing extremely tough quartzite or when a brighter finish is desired.

Most fabricators achieve excellent results using 1, 2 and 3.

Start with Coarse only when deeper marks or saw lines require additional removal.

High Gloss provides maximum reflection on quartz and quartzite and is often used after Step 3.
