These polishing wheels use a permanently attached Snail-Lock backer, eliminating the possibility of the pad separating from the backer. This makes them extremely reliable, especially for shops running vertical-style inline polishing machines, where Velcro systems can loosen or fall off due to gravity and wheel orientation. The Snail-Lock design guarantees a strong mechanical lock, precise alignment and uninterrupted polishing.

Depending on head count, fabrication shops often double up Step 1 or Step 2 to increase clarity, match machine spacing and maintain consistent pressure across polishing heads.
