The 18 inches Venom Fat Boy Original Diamond Bridge Saw Blade for Quartz & Granite is engineered for fabrication shops needing a long-life, stable, and clean-cutting blade for daily stone production. Built with 26mm tall laser-welded segments, this blade delivers strong durability, smooth feed pressure, and consistent cutting performance on quartz and granite.
Although this is technically a Quartz & Granite blade, many fabricators report that it performs reasonably well on quartzite when used at a slower feed rate. It will not cut quartzite as fast as a quartzite-specific blade, but it maintains clean edges with proper control.
For marble, the blade works fine when you run the saw at slightly faster RPMs, which helps produce smoother, chip-free edges.
This blade is NOT recommended for miter cutting.
For all miter-cutting applications, use:

The 18" Fat Boy Original is available in three arbor sizes:
• 50/60mm standard arbor
• 65mm arbor
• 90mm arbor
KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS

Optimized diamond bond for daily production cutting.
• Works OK on Quartzite (User Feedback)
Acceptable performance at controlled feed speeds.
• Performs Well on Marble With Slightly Higher RPM
Increasing RPM produces clean, chip-free edges.
• NOT Recommended for Miter Cutting
Use Venom ARIX-Q 15mm for all miter work.
• 26mm Tall Segments
Long-lasting, aggressive cutting performance.
• Three Arbor Options
50/60mm, 65mm, and 90mm.
• Laser-Welded Construction
Built for durability and heat resistance.
• Clean, Professional Cuts
Minimizes chipping on quartz and granite; runs smooth on marble with proper RPM.
RECOMMENDED USES
Recommended For:
• Quartz
• Granite
• Straight cutting
• Daily high-volume production
Secondary Use:
• Quartzite — works with slower feed speed
• Marble — clean performance at slightly faster RPM
Not Recommended For:
• Dry cutting
• Miter cutting → use Venom ARIX-Q 15mm
• Exceeding saw manufacturer RPM limits
RPM GUIDELINES
-
Quartz & Granite: ~1750 RPM
-
Quartzite: Maintain a slower feed rate for best edge quality
-
Marble: Increase RPM slightly to reduce chipping
-
Always follow your saw’s maximum RPM and diameter limits
