The 18 Inches Fat Boy Quartzite Diamond Bridge Saw Blade is engineered for fabricators who need strong cutting power, a quiet core, and reliable performance on quartzite, one of the hardest stones in the industry. With a 20mm segment height and a sandwich silent core, this blade offers stability, reduced noise, and clean cutting performance even on the toughest materials.
Although this blade is specifically designed for quartzite, it also cuts quartz and granite faster than the Fat Boy Quartz blades, giving shops a more aggressive option for general fabrication work.
When cutting quartz or granite, run the blade at 1750 RPM for best speed and finish.
For quartzite, always run at slower RPMs until the blade is cutting smooth and quiet, and make sure to use plenty of water for cooling, vibration control, and longer blade life.
The 20mm segment height makes this blade acceptable for light miter applications.
However, for heavy miter production, we strongly recommend:
→ SVEB Taj Mahal Quartzite Blade — the best quartzite blade in the world
→ Venom ARIX-Q Diamond Blade — outstanding for high-accuracy miter cutting
