The 16 Inches Fat Boy Quartzite Diamond Bridge Saw Blade is engineered specifically for quartzite cutting, delivering smooth, stable, and consistent performance on one of the hardest materials in the stone industry. Built with a sandwich silent core, this blade runs noticeably quieter while maintaining strong stability during heavy cutting.
The 20mm segment height delivers long life, clean cutting, and reliable feed pressure—making it ideal for fabrication shops that process quartzite regularly.
Even though this is a Quartzite Blade, it also cuts quartz and granite faster than the Fat Boy Quartz blades, thanks to its harder bond and more aggressive segment profile.
For mitering, the 20mm segment height is acceptable for some light miter work.
However, for heavy or frequent miter cutting, we strongly recommend:
-
SVB Taj Mahal Quartzite Blade — the highest-level quartzite mitering blade available
-
Venom ARIX-Q 15mm — excellent mitering blade for quartz, granite, and quartzite
KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Quartzite-Engineered Diamond Bond
Designed for maximum control, stability, and cutting efficiency on quartzite.
• Cuts Quartz & Granite Faster Than Fat Boy Quartz Blades
More aggressive segment design delivers faster feed speeds on softer stones.
• 20mm Tall Segments
Long life, strong stability, and excellent cutting consistency.
• Sandwich Silent Core
Reduced noise and vibration while maximizing core stability.
• Light Miter Capability
20mm height is suitable for occasional miter cuts.
• Recommended Blades for Heavy Miter Work
For frequent mitering, use:
• SVB Taj Mahal Quartzite Blade
• Venom ARIX-Q 15mm Blade
• Clean, Professional Finish Quality
Reduces chipping and promotes smooth cutting with proper RPM and water flow.
RPM GUIDELINES
-
Quartz & Granite: ~1750 RPM
-
Quartzite: Run slower RPMs until the blade is cutting smooth, quiet, and controlled
-
Use plenty of water when cutting quartzite to reduce heat and maintain clean edges
-
Follow your saw manufacturer’s RPM and diameter limits
RECOMMENDED USES

• Granite (fast output)
• Straight cutting
• Light miter work
Not Recommended For:
• Dry cutting
• Heavy miter cutting (use SVB Taj Mahal or ARIX-Q)
• Exceeding saw manufacturer RPM limits
