Product Description
The 16 Inch Venom Fat Boy Quartzite Diamond Bridge Saw Blade is engineered specifically for cutting quartzite, delivering smooth, stable, and consistent performance on one of the hardest materials in the stone industry.
Built with a sandwich silent core, this blade runs noticeably quieter while maintaining excellent stability during heavy cutting. The 20mm segment height provides long life, clean cutting, and reliable feed pressure, making it ideal for fabrication shops that process quartzite regularly.
Although designed for quartzite, this blade also cuts quartz and granite faster than Venom Fat Boy Quartz blades due to its harder bond and more aggressive segment profile.
For miter cutting, the 20mm segment height is suitable for light or occasional miter work. For frequent or heavy mitering applications, we strongly recommend using a dedicated mitering blade such as the SVB Taj Mahal Quartzite Blade or the Venom ARIX-Q 15mm Blade.
Key Features & Benefits
• Quartzite-Engineered Diamond Bond
Designed for maximum control, stability, and cutting efficiency on quartzite.
• Cuts Quartz & Granite Faster Than Quartz Blades
More aggressive segment profile delivers higher feed rates on softer materials.
• 20mm Segment Height
Provides long life, strong stability, and consistent cutting performance.
• Sandwich Silent Core
Reduces noise and vibration while maintaining core rigidity.
• Light Miter Capability
20mm segment height is suitable for occasional miter cuts.
• Clean, Professional Finish Quality
Helps reduce chipping and promotes smooth cutting when used with proper RPM and water flow.
RPM & Cutting Guidelines
Quartz & Granite: ~1750 RPM
Quartzite: Run at lower RPMs until the blade cuts smoothly, quietly, and with control.
Use ample water when cutting quartzite to reduce heat and maintain clean edges.
Always follow your saw manufacturer’s RPM and blade diameter limits.
